At this point the studio is rolling and people are becoming aware of my classes. It is drinking from the firehose as I craft my classes and tweak a little after each class experience. The space is working well, but it did become clear that a full class was a challenge with only two torches, plus we needed to add more light. So, the simple one-table-bench got replaced with a bank of counter top just like the opposite wall, the polishing machine got moved to the office, and we added under-shelf lighting and more overhead lights.

It sounds like a lot, but in such a small space, we came pretty close the the mark with the first design. Observing full classes prompted these little changes. I don't want people feeling like they have to wait on others, but I want to be able to do the most one-on-one instruction possible.
